Here is my take away on what I have learned — after using twitter for writing 365 days.

The only way to get things done is to wake up and write — it ain’t got nothing to do with some sort of imagination or some productivity hack.

You just need to wake up and get the work done. Also just make sure that you have a routine to get things done.

You might be thinking why? Routine is important -

  • Our brain has a thing that allows us to do things. You always have heard about things like jet-lagged or messy sleepy cycles. That ain’t has to do anything with what we are up-to the things that make our body/mind hurt is messing around with our sleep cycle or having some sort of hindrance in our routine.
  • The second takeaway is that- be a good observer eventually this will help you to get more creative with your work. As you won’t feel burned out after writing just for a couple of days.
  • Learn — how to be good at precise writing as we live in the world where we are being bombarded with lots of information on social media. So try to keep it short & simple because this will help the user to draw more engagement & attention.
  • Try to add value & wisdom with the post that you are trying to create through the post or content that you are sharing on the platform.

Writing Shapes Our Future

“Read, read, read. Read everything — trash, classics, good and bad, and see how they do it. Just like a carpenter who works as an apprentice and studies the master. Read! You’ll absorb it. Then write. If it’s good, you’ll find out. If it’s not, throw it out of the window.”
